About Me

I've been developing web sites professionally for over 8 years now both as a salaried and freelance developer. For the past year I've been working full time at Risdall Advertising in New Brighton as a web developer. At Risdall I'm responsible for the building and maintenance of many static, dynamic, and Flash-based web sites. Utilizing technologies such as DotNetNuke I was able to rapidly produce dynamic, CMS driven web sites for clients with tight deadlines and tight budgets. Before Risdall I worked for 4 1/2 years at the Seattle office of Fitch as the lead developer in charge of building web sites, CD-ROMs, HTML emails, Flash animations, and banner graphics. In addition to this, I acted as a consultant to the design teams to help ensure the quality of the project as well as address any technological concerns that may arise.

I enjoy projects that enable me to learn new technologies and practices as well as push the limitations of existing methods. There's nothing more rewarding than looking back at the end of a difficult project and realizing how much more you accomplished than you originally thought possible. My goal is to approach every single project as a chance to improve my abilities.
