Qualifications:

I am currently employed at Risdall Advertising as a web developer. The environment at Risdall is extremely fast-paced and has helped me excel at rapid site development and deployment. I've also learned the advantages of using existing, open-source applications and practices whenever possible to speed up the production cycle of web projects.

I have over 4 1/2 years experience as the lead developer in charge of building web sites, CD-ROMs, HTML emails, Flash animations, and banner graphics for the Seattle office of Fitch. In addition to this, I acted as a consultant to the designers to help ensure the quality of the project as well as address any technological concerns that may arise during the initial design phase. Working at Fitch has given me a great deal of experience in communicating with creative talent and clients that may not be familiar with web technologies and practices.

In addition to full time employment I enjoy doing freelance web development work in my spare time. This has allowed me to work with a greater variety of clients, designers, and projects. The size and scope of these projects has ranged from simple banner ads up to large, corporate web sites with robust CMS systems.
